Exercise Carabaroo (1.1 mins)
Soldiers from Australia, Philippines and the United States conducted trilateral urban operations training in Shoalwater Bay and Brisbane on Exercise Carabaroo in May 2019. The three week exercise centred on urban warfare and involved live fire static shooting and blank fire missions in urban operations training facilities to develop drills, enhance interoperability and increase lethality within the urban environment. Over 360 members from the United States Marine Rotation Force – Darwin, Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Australian Army’s 8th/9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment were involved in the exercise.
