Gender, Peace and Security In Defence

The report Local Action, Global Impact, provides a summary of Defence progress toward meeting Australia’s strategic commitment to the Women, Peace and Security agenda over the period 2012-2018. It also reflects on lessons learned and identifies a way forward for future implementation priorities and plans.

Australian Civil Military Centre - ACMC host a Whole of Government workshop on Women, Peace and Security. They also have a number of publications and research products which are linked specifically to this agenda.

Office for Women - OFW have the overall responsibility for reporting on WoG progress of meeting the requirements of the NAP. This link takes you directly to their webpage which hosts the NAP and the subsequent progress reports.

Australian Strategic Policy Institute - Each year ASPI publishes an edition of their ASPI Strategic Insights document specifically pertaining to Women Peace and Security. ASPI also host other specific networking and panel events throughout the year pertaining to women in security and defence Service and the broader WPS agenda.
