Defence Family Matters
Defence Family Matters is sent out in May and November each year and we generally seek submissions 6-8 weeks prior. Bear in mind the magazine fills up quickly, sometimes even before we get a chance to formally call for submissions, so if you'd like to see your story in the magazine, email us at DefenceFamilyMatters@defence.gov.au as soon as possible.

Attach any images as separate image files to the email. Do not insert them into a Microsoft Word file.Please read the DFM editorial policy to ensure your submission meets our requirements.
Our team of editors will edit your article to fit into Defence Family Matters layout, but aim for 300-400words.
