The Australian Defence Force Academy’s (ADFA) first virtual Open Day will run from Monday 17 August through to Saturday 22 August 2020.
While the traditional Open Day will not be happening this year, the virtual program will provide an excellent opportunity for young Australians interested in a career with the Australian Defence Force to have all their questions answered.
ADFA is a unique institution that combines university studies delivered by the University of New South Wales (UNSW Canberra with ongoing military education and training.
In these uncertain times, the virtual Open Day will provide an opportunity for prospective trainee officers and their families to learn about the military training and academic programs on offer without travelling to Canberra.
Through our ADFA Facebook and Instagram accounts, people will be able to participate in virtual tours of the facilities, ask questions of current ADFA trainee officers through live Q&A sessions and see what a day in the life of a trainee officer looks like.
Join us each day to hear new stories from our trainee officers or take part in a virtual tour of the ADFA facilities. On Saturday 22 August 2020 at 11am AEST, we will host a Facebook Live session with three of our trainee officers to hear about their experiences of life and study at ADFA.
In addition, UNSW Canberra will host a series of information presentations from their four academic schools from Thursday, 20 August and then join them on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August for live Q+A sessions. Staff from each school will on hand to answer all your questions about studying at UNSW Canberra.
