The 7th Combat Signal Regiment conducted a regimental parade with the Princess Royal Banner at Gallipoli Barracks to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Australian Army 139th Squadron’s formation. Former soldiers, friends and family attended the event to watch current serving members celebrate the milestone. The Australian Army 139th Signal Squadron was formed in 1967 for training for the Vietnam War. Many soldiers served in Vietnam and more recently in East Timor and current Middle East Operations.
